Prairie Gold Savings Account
A high-yield savings account that offers liquidity and a great rate. There is no minimum balance requirement.
Christmas Club
A short-term savings vehicle, great for holiday budgeting! Each account's entire balance is paid out on Nov. 1 to provide cash for holiday spending. No withdrawals are allowed. There is a $20 closing fee if the account is closed before Nov. 1.
College Savings Fund
An excellent tool for preparing to fund educational expenses. This special CD is opened under the Uniform Transfers to Minors Act (UTMA) and pays a high variable rate of interest (based on our 60-month certificate of deposit). No minimum balance required, with unlimited deposits allowed. Maturity occurs in June following high school graduation. Substantial penalty for early withdrawal.
Certificates of Deposit
A full range of Certificates of Deposit (CD's) are available for those who favor higher interest rates without the risk of securities investments. You decide on the time period. Longer time periods earn higher rates. Varying terms are available, as well as fixed or variable rates.
Looney Tunes Kids Savers Club
Get “Tooned” into savings, with the help of Bugs, Taz and Tweety! You may become a member if you are 0-17 years of age and maintain a Prairie Savings account.
